The Genesis Gymnastics team brought home 24 medals from the state championships including 8 gold, silver and bronze finishes. With hundreds of gymnasts from all over southern California arriving in Bakersfield November 12, 13th, the Genesis gymnasts brought home their share of medals to the Antelope valley.
In the level 4 division, 7 year old Elizabeth Danforth finished 7th in the all around with a score of 35.60, with a gold medal performance on floor with 9.4 and a bronze finish on bars with 9.35. 8 year old Asia Hithe took gold on vault with a 9.45 finishing 9th in the all around with 35.775. Isabel Navarro took 5th on vault with 9.225 and 8th on floor with 9.125. Kate Solis took 6th on vault with 9.25. Hayley Spencer took silver on the floor with 9.175. Kiley Allison took 8th on bars with 9.025. Olivia Menin took 9th on floor with 9.125 and Rhianna Thomas took 6th on floor with 9.175.
In the level 5 division Ariana Curtis turned out her best performance of the season with a 9th place all around finish with 36.325 and a 6th on vault with 9.0.
In level 6 Tiana Andrews took 11th in the all around with a 4th on vault with 9.275 and 6th on floor with 9.225. Grace Shafer took gold on bars with 8.925 and bronze on floor with a 9.175 finishing 4th in the all around. Anna Ruppert took 5th in the all around with a bronze on vault with 9.225 and 5th on floor with 8.825. Kai Garcia took bronze on vault with 9.25 and Katie Davis took 8th on bars with 8.75.

12 year old Hayley Spencer took 7th in the all around in her division for the level 4 team, winning 2nd on vault with 9.4 and 4th on floor with 9.025. Kate Solis took 6th in the all around with 35.40 in the 8 year old division with a gold medal win on vault with 9.425. Allyson AVant took 5th in the all around with a 35.35 taking 2nd on bars with 9.3, Asia Hithe was 7th in the all around with 34.90 taking 3rd on vault with 9.35 and 4th on beam with 8.775. Madelyn Murphy was 10th in the all around with 34.60 taking 4th on vault with 9.275. Isabel Navarro took 8th in the all around in the 9 year old division with a 35.50, and Rhianna Thomas was 11th with a 35.52 taking 4th on floor with 9.225. In the 7 year old division Elizabeth Danforth was 7th in the all around with a gold medal on bars with 9.2 and a 3rd on vault with 9.3, she scored a 35.525, 7 year old Katelyn O'Mara was 12th with a silver medal on vault with 9.475. Ten year old Olivia Menin was the top score for her team with her first 36.00 giving her 6th in the all around and a gold medal on vault with 9.45.
In level 5 Janae Conrad led her team with a 35.575 taking 6th in the all around, Teammate Ashley Karle was 8th with a 35.20 and ARiana Curtis was 9th with a 35.150. Leah Wilson took 14th in the all around. In the 13 year old division Gabby Leiva took 5th in the all around with a 34.525.
In level 6 Tiana Andrews led her team with a 35.65 finishing 5th in the all around with a 3rd on floor with 9.25 and 4th on vault with 9.35. Katie Davis was 13th with a 34.75 and Kai Garcia was 14th with a 34.575. In the 14 year old division Anna Ruppert took 2nd in the all around with a 35.325 winning gold on vault with 9.3 and plaving 3rd on floor with 9.075. Grace Shaffer was 5th with a 33.225 taking 2nd on floor with 9.375 and 3rd on vault with 9.2.
